I'd like to share a little about me with you:
My favorite season is summer. I LOVE SUMMER! The beautiful smelling breezes blowing through my hair, the sun shining long into the evening, the birds chirping and feeding their fat(passed the age of being fed by their parents), babies, the color green! Green is my favorite color. Trips to the beach, sand between my toes, hiking in silent woods, jumping across puddles and sometimes getting a tad wet, and spending time with my family!
I have 2 daughters. Keira started first grade this August! Where did the time go? She's my mini photographer! So smart and such a good eye for composition and light. Violet is 2. I call her my camel baby because she is always spitting. My rough and tough, sugar babe. She has a lot of me in her personality. A LOT! That is something I can relate to, I guess...hahah.
My husband Bill is constantly after me to keep the house clean(I fumble the ball on that I must admit). Juggling a house, a husband(that could get really heavy LOL), 2 children, a part time job, home schooling, AND a business...well! I have become a master Juggler!
Why I chose photography....
When I think back to the day I was buying my first Semi-Pro camera, I was over my head. I wanted to pursue photography full time but had no idea how to get rolling. How does an introvert push to escape the fears and doubts that run through their heads??? Well, let me start by saying that it is easier to be approached than do the approaching! That is exactly what happened. I was approached by a friend who asked me to take her Graduate pictures. I chose that day to completely surround myself with the goal to become a photographer. I followed other successful photographers, I watched their live webinars, I purchased training sessions, I participated in photo-challenges, assignments, I took an online course to learn about my camera and the aspects of taking photographs. I was enthralled with it! My passion for art has always been part of my life. I love art, I love expression, and I love the courage I mustered to take that leap and dive into what I now love doing! Capturing memories is what I do. In art form. I want to give that frozen moment a forever place in your hearts and walls!
